Karnak Monoliths – The Exclusive Hidden Secrets of Karnak Temple

If you’re one of the many people who travel to Egypt in search of ancient secrets, you may be overlooking some of the more spectacular sights right under your nose.

Spectacular oversized granite blocks, which I would call the Karnak monoliths, even their placement seemed rather odd, yet brilliant. They hide in the open, only being covered by a strange angle, which might make us overlook them.

The block shown in this picture looks bigger than the blocks used on the sphinx temple, and they are surely much heavier because of the granite material used. The holes in the block lead me to believe that it most likely belongs to the roof section.

The wholes are actually something we still use today when we construct buildings known as wall binders. They are used to holding the slabs together. This alone should make you reconsider some things regarding our modern sciences.

I know this because I am educated in building and construction.

If you think about it, our ancestors were way ahead of us technologically. And not just by a little bit, but by leaps and bounds. If they were able to create such megalithic structures with the technology that they had, just imagine what they could have done with the technology we have today.

The Odd Angles

This slab also reminded me of the ceiling blocks used in the King’s chamber inside the Great Pyramid of Giza. One thing that has baffled most Egyptologists surrounding the Sphinx Temple was the odd shapes that the blocks have. It would be much easier to create the temple with regular square blocks, like normally done, so why use these very odd angles and shapes?

There are also many people that think the Sphinx temple is the only construction with these differently shaped blocks. Imagine my surprise then when I stumbled upon these blocks in Karnak temple.

How I perceive the Temples of Ancient Egypt and especially Karnak

I feel like I have to tell you how I was led to these magnificent construction blocks because somehow I feel like the journey is as important as what the journey brings.

When I am in Egypt, my mind swifts to being completely spiritual in what it perceives. This will give you a peek into that part of my mind. When I am there, I am completely absorbed by the universe itself. It is as if all people and everything modern completely evaporate from my mind.

I was looking at satellite images over Karnak temple, and I was noting where the different temples were, and studying the normal route people and guides take. And I remember finding it odd that no one looked at the other parts of this massive place. Where we have so many different gods and temples represented.

Then I noticed something even more fascinating. It was like I could see how the different ancient Pharaoh family lines were building and adding to each other. I also took a look at what gods they chose to worship.

And that is how I saw it. the route no one follows when visiting Karnak temple. So I dug into all of my books, and I realized something. Looking at the satellite map from above and over Karnak temple, it felt like looking at a star map, with planets represented.

By this I mean, if you go deep into Ancient Egyptian religion and mythology, you will find that most gods are a representation of something in the universe, a planet or a star or some other cosmic thing we still lack the understanding of.

Back to The Exclusive Hidden Secrets of Karnak Temple

I was sitting on the balcony of the hotel at night, and I noticed something interesting.

Orion was on one side, and Sirius was on the other side. The lights enchanted me and reflected in the Nile water.

The Moon seemed further away than the star and constellation, which it, of course, wasn’t. And yet it looked like that. I was there looking for something… I do not know what.. but there is something nagging at me… something…

The only thing I knew was that I wanted to change how I saw the temples at Karnak.

I was tired of the pharaoh’s stories, and I wondered what if? What if they built the temples in a certain pattern, with a purpose more visible than we might perceive right now? What if…?

I had printed satellite pictures of the entire area of all the temples at Karnak, as well as further out in each direction. It did not take me that long to see a pattern in the temples among Karnak’s ruins.

The Moons path

The 12 moon calendars once stood where I followed the Moon’s path. I also knew that I was treading in the footsteps of the ancient family line of Thutmose and Hatshepsut.

I have never seen a guided tour in this area of the temple complex, which I find rather peculiar.

It was on this path that I found these remarkable and gigantic granite blocks. Among the thousands of smaller sandstone bricks, there stood these enormous blocks. 

The Path of Thutmose

They focused on the destruction of temples at Karnak on this path. The family line of Thutmose has a path to the Moon.

The Path that religion still despises… The path of seeking wisdom …

Interestingly, these granite blocks, or should we call them Karnak monoliths, have the name of Thutmose III, the same person who erected the dream stealer between the front legs of the Sphinx.
